Wavesight is proud to extend its deployment  internationally to Venlo in the Netherlands. 

Venlo Trade Port, located in the south east of the Nederland’s has optimum access to the world port of Rotterdam, the industrial heart in Germany and the industrial port area on the Maas.

Due to the large volume of ‘high value merchandise’  moving in and out of the area, there was a need for video surveillance to be deployed in the region. . To do this with cable or fibre, would have taken too long and would have caused extreme disruption, digging up the roads around the industrial park. There was also a high cost associated with cable or fibre.

Qcat, a Rotterdam based Systems Integrator, assumed the responsibility  of installing cameras and wireless links from Wavesight. . So far there are over 120 cameras, with more than 200 radio links deployed in Venlo alone .
